The Chatham-Kent Nursing Society brings together students in RN, RPN, PSW and other nursing-related programs, licensed nurses, as well as members of the community for connection, education, and community.
What is the CKNS?
The Chatham-Kent Nursing Society operates under Thames Students Inc (TSI), we are a student led club that aims to support students enrolled in any program under the School of Nursing and the broader student body at our Chatham campus.
We are a dedicated group of students who are passionate about enriching the college experience; whether we are hosting a social event, organizing a fundraiser for one of our initiatives, fostering deeper ties with the local community, or developing professional relationships with faculty and healthcare workers in the field.
2026-2027 goals
Fundraise for and organize a pinning ceremony for our graduating RPN students
Collect and distribute recycled program scrubs to help students cut costs
Plan and host fun social events to foster community between the nursing programs
